Day 01 Arrival San José / Costa Rica
Arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, where a representative will
wait for you right after immigration and will assist you in case of any
irregularity with your luggage. Your bilingual-speaking airport guide will then
wait at the exit of the airport. 10 minutes transfer to Hotel Melia
Cariari***** or Costa Rica Marriott Hotel*****.
Welcome drink during the private check-in at Melia Cariari included.

Day 02 Coffee tour at Doka Estate Plantation – La Paz Waterfalls Gardens –
Hacienda Pura Vida
After breakfast depart for a visit to Doka Estate Plantation. A visit to Doka
Estate, on the slopes of the Poás Volcano, it is a fantastic learning
opportunity. We will guide you through all the coffee production stages in a
breathtaking atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to closely observe and
understand how a first choice bean turns into a fabulous cup of coffee. You
will walk through the planted fields, see the beneficio (coffee mill) and smell
the aroma emitted by the sun bathed patios where the beans are sun dried every
morning.
Mid morning you will make a visit to La Paz Waterfalls Gardens, when you think
about Costa Rica, you probably imagine lush tropical rain forests, flowing
white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies and flowers. At La Paz
Waterfall Gardens, you will see all that and more. Lunch will be enjoyed at
this place. Mid afternoon we return to the hotel. At 6:00 p.m. depart to
Hacienda Pura Vida for dinner.

Day 03 Pacuare Rafting Trip
Considered one of the World’s Five Best White-Water Runs, the Pacuare offers
some of the best white-rater rafting in the hemisphere. 6:30 a.m. you will be
picked up by your professional river rafting guides at the lobby of the hotel,
you’ll travel on scenic Highway 34, which is the old road to Limón. We’ll stop
for a tasty Costa Rican traditional breakfast on the way. The ride to the
put-in at Tres Equis takes about two hours. Once you get there, the
professional guides and rafting equipment will be waiting.
After a thorough safety briefing, the adventure begins. Your team will raft
through thrilling class IV rapids, squeezing through narrowing openings between
gigantic boulders and long stretches of fast, powerful rapids. Along the way,
our guides will serve a very satisfying lunch of deli meats and cheeses,
sandwich fillings, fruit and juice, all along the riverbank. During lunch
break, you’ll have time to stop and admire the raw power of the pounding
Pacuare River and the serene jungle scenery.
Dinner for tonight is recommended at Casa de Doña Lela, reminiscent of the
rural fiestas called turnos, this restaurant presents traditional cuisine of
Costa Rica. Just imagine the old matrons in wide aprons, their hair tied back
with colorful handkerchiefs, cooking in huge pots and grilling all sorts of
dishes.

Day 04 Central Pacific & visit to the small town Bijagual
After breakfast depart to the Central Pacific coast for a visit to the small
town of Bijagual and lunch with local families. (The activities at Bijagual
must to be coordinated with local people upon confirmation of the group). Mid
afternoon we return to hotel.

05 Canopy tour at Villa Lapas & Sunset drink at the Beach (only at Los
Sueños Marriott)
This morning after breakfast you will depart to Villa Lapas, where you will
enjoy a day of adventure and Costa Rican traditions. Fly over exotic trees and
flora and see birds, monkeys and other exotic animals firsthand, while
experiencing the energy rush of “jumping” from one treetop to another, Once
finished the adventure you will be taken to a replica of Costa Rica's
historical past, the Santa Lucía town in Villa Lapas which adds a quaint,
charming touch to its natural surroundings. Based on a typical Costa Rican town
during the times of the Colony and Spanish conquest. At this place you will
enjoy a delicious “Parrillada Tica” for lunch. By late afternoon you could
enjoy the sunset at the Herradura beach.

Day 06 Check out and transfer to the International Airport
Today after breakfast you will depart (2 hour drive) to the International
Airport.
