CUBA IN CLASSIC 50's AMERICAN CARS
A unique experience to see the real Cuba 6 Days / 5 Nights
The Journey
This unique journey starts in Havana and takes us through the Cuban countryside, Pinar del Rio and Las Terrazas, the old Spanish colonial city of Trinidad and Varadero beach resort in classic 50’s American cars over a distance of some 1200 kms and 6 days / 5 nights. An adventure to see the real Cuba combined with fun events and activities. There will be a balance of hard cross country driving, soft comfortable hotel beds, chill-out beaches, historical sites and vibrant nightlife. We feature 3/4 star hotels in Havana, Las Terrazas, Trinidad and Varadero. Dining experiences range from rustic Creole local cooking to international cuisine.
Classic 1950’s American Cars
With their chrome sparkling and their bright colours gleaming, the most beautiful American cars of the 1950’’s can be seen, driving the streets of Cuba every day. Over the years, necessity has dictated that the cars are maintained with great care. In almost every alley, there’ll be an old American car, jealously guarded and cared for, just waiting for a drive.
Cuba a country of contrasts
Cuba is steeped in history and icons from the past and is becoming more popular as one of the world’s most interesting places to visit. In is a safe destination for tourists with good hotels, beautiful tropical beaches, and stunning mountain resorts.
It is a cliché to say that a country’s greatest asset is the warmth of its people. In Cuba’s case it happens to be true. Charismatic, friendly and open, Cuban people are mercifully free of the excesses bred from mass tourism and commercialised excess.
Cuba is probably best known for its classic images, the revolutionary Che Guevara, and Fidel Castro, Havana cigars, vintage American cars, rum, salsa, and jazz, the Buena Vista Social Club, Ernest Hemingway, and the Tropicana Cabaret.
