Arrival at Havana's International Airport. You are welcomed at the airport lobby by your bilingual guide and professional driver. Transfer to private house.

Visit to Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez to learn about Cuban nature and the conservation of biodiversity, including a guided visit to a museum where you can appreciate his private collection.

Explore the beautiful historical City of Havana. It includes visits to sites of major interest starting with a walking tour through the main streets and squares of the Historical Centre, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site such as: Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square), Plaza de Armas (Square of Arms), Plaza de San Francisco de Asís (San Francisco Square), and Plaza Vieja (Old Square).

Visit to the famous Handicraft Market of Old Havana, located inside the Almacenes de San José, which is an old warehouse on the harbor side where you can purchase all sorts of crafts and souvenirs by local artisans.

Lunch at 5 Esquinas restaurant.

After lunch, your will be driven you to La Boca de Guamá, where you will meet with your kayak instructor.

Visit El Criadero de Cocodrilos (Crocodile Reproduction and Breeding Center). If our timing is right, we can witness feeding time and capture the crocodiles’ strong jaws chomping down on their snacks on camera.

Continue to Playa Larga and Check in. Dinner in private house.

Transfer to Salinas de Brito at the southwestern side of Bay of Pigs in Zapata Peninsula. This route is a harmonious natural combination. On the way, you will enjoy different types of vegetation and some large but very shallow lakes where several species of birds live, including Roseate Flamingos and Roseate Spoonbills. Along this route, you may also see some endemic species, such as Zapata Sparrows and Bee Hummingbirds.

When you get to Las Salinas, you will continue your trip in kayak, paddling across mangroves and cays with sandy beaches. The trip includes other cays, as well, so you can see different species of iguanas, jutías and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Box lunch in the area.

Drive back to Playa Larga and continue to Cienfuegos.

Stopover at Museo de Playa Girón, dedicated to the Cuban victory against the Bay of Pigs mercenary invasion financed by the United States government on April 1961.

Cienfuegos City Tour, visiting the main square Jose Martí Park (National Monument) and the most interesting places and buildings in the city: Catedral de la Purísima Concepción, Teatro Tomás Terry built in 1889, Palacio de Ferrer built in the 1890 and Arco de Triunfo (the only existing Arch of Triumph in Cuba) built 1902. Visit the Palacio del Valle (1917), Check in. Dinner at Restaurant Cuatro Caminos.

Rest of the evening at leisure.

Transfer to La Milpa where you will launch the kayaks and start paddling. Enjoy a panoramic view of Castillo de Jagua, a fortress built in 1745 for protection against Caribbean pirates, corsairs and buccaneers. When you get to the opposite shore you will momentarily leave the kayaks and take a short path up a hill to visit this fortress.

Once the visit is finished, you launch the kayaks again and paddle from the Jagua Fortress to Rancho Cristal private restaurant for lunch, passing by El Perché, a fishermen neighborhood- and Punta Milpa. Restaurant Rancho Cristal is a very nice restaurant by the sea with a beautiful view of the Cienfuegos Bay. Enjoy a typical menu in this amazing spot.

After lunch, drive to Hotel Hanabanilla from where you can enjoy the Lago Hanabanilla’s wonderful view, a truly majestic place! Check in. Dinner at Hotel Hanabanilla. Accommodation: Hotel Hanabanilla.

Launch the kayaks in the lake to paddle towards the amazing waterfall Cascada Los Helechos. Walk along the trail Cascada de los Helechos. Take a bath in the waterfall cold and clear waters or simply take a moment to enjoy this fantastic spot. Launch the kayaks again this time towards Río Negro, another beautiful spot located half way down the lake. Walk the short path El Mirador which will lead you up to a higher spot with a magnificent view of the lake.

After lunch, paddle across the lake and its steep mountains rising up from the shoreline back to Hotel Hanabanilla. Transfer from Hotel Hanabanilla to Villa Guajimico.

Check in.

Then launch the kayaks here for a short paddle on the Caribbean Sea to enjoy the sunset from the water. Dinner at Villa Guajimico.

Breakfast at Villa Guajimico Resort.

Launch the kayaks and paddle on the Caribbean Sea to an isolated beach with rock cliffs on both sides. Beach time and snorkeling in the coral reef. Paddle back to Villa Guajimico resort.

Drive to Hacienda La Vega Restaurant for lunch, a bucolic cattle farm surrounded by fruit trees.

After lunch, you can enjoy some horseback riding along 5 km to Caleta de Castro, a small cove with sand reef. Time for a bath. Ride back to Hacienda La Vega.

Transfer to Trinidad. Tour around the historical centre of the city. Visit La Canchánchara, a mansion, built in 1723 that sells special drinks typical of the city.

Visit to a private pottery workshop La Casa del Alfarero. Check in.

Free time to rest up.

Dinner at Restaurant Jazz Café.

After dinner, dance to the rhythm of good Cuban music at Casa de la Música.

Drive to a spot near Maria Dolores resort.

Launch the kayaks here to paddle down Guaurabo River to the fishermen village La Boca. Continue paddling until María Aguilar Beach in Peninsula Ancón. Beach time and snorkeling!

Drive to Casilda, a fishermen town for a good seafood lunch at La Marinera Private Restaurant.

After lunch, drive back to Trinidad. Check out and continue to Havana. On the way stop at Ernesto Ché Guevara Memorial in Santa Clara.
