This programme allows you to tailor make your own itinerary, using the hotels
listed below for accommodation and to visit the places you desire The programme
starts in any of the following airports and you can choose to drop-off the car
at the end of your trip at any of these airports without additional charge:
Havana City, Varadero, Cayo Coco, Holguín or Santiago de Cuba.

Route 1 - Havana, West Cuba & Varadero
If you arrive to Cuba at the José Martí International Airport in Havana, we
recommend you the following route:
Havana - Viñales - Soroa - Varadero - Havana
Route 2 - Varadero, Central & South Cuba
If you arrive to Cuba at the Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport in
Varadero, we recommend you the following route:
Varadero - Zapata Peninsula - Cienfuegos - Trinidad - Sancti
Spíritus - Santa Clara - Varadero
Route 3 - Santiago de Cuba & East Cuba
If you arrive to Cuba at the Antonio Maceo International Airport in Santiago de
Cuba, we recommend you the following route:
Santiago de Cuba - Baracoa - Holguín - Santiago de Cuba
Route 1 - Havana, West Cuba & Varadero
Havana - Viñales - Soroa - Varadero - Havana
From Havana, take the national freeway heading toward the west. After one hour
and a half drive, you will arrive to Pinar del Río, the capital of the province
of the same name, well–known for its tobacco plantations, the best in the
world. Then head toward the north. A winding road through the mountains will
lead you to the beautiful Viñales Valley.
On the way back, we advise you to visit the Soroa tourist resort, located at
the west of the Sierra del Rosario biosphere reserve. It has the biggest orchid
garden of the island, waterfalls and the Castillo de las Nubes Belvedere.
Once again, take the national freeway, the beltway of Havana and the Vía Blanca
to get to Matanzas and the Yumurí Valley. We also recommend you to visit some
of Varadero’s beautiful beaches (40 km from the Yumurí Valley).
Route 2 - Varadero, Central & South Cuba
Varadero - Zapata Peninsula - Cienfuegos - Trinidad - Sancti
Spíritus - Santa Clara - Varadero
We recommend you to begin your journey heading toward the south taking minor
roads through typical towns like Cárdenas, Máximo Gómez, Perico, Agramonte and
Jagüey Grande that will lead you to the Zapata Peninsula. You will have the
possibility to go fishing in the Laguna del Tesoro, to practice diving in the
deep waters of Playa Larga, to observe the rich nature, the rich flora and
fauna of this region, particularly its birds, and to swim in the warm waters of
the Caribbean Sea.
We advise you to head toward the east to get to Cienfuegos, known as The Pearl
of the South. Do not miss a walk along the seafront avenue of Cienfuegos.
Always heading to the east, visit Trinidad, the Museum City of the Caribbean,
declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
If you like to go fishing for trout, visit the Zaza Lake, the biggest reservoir
of fresh water in Cuba. This area is near Sancti Spiritus, one of the first
seven towns founded in Cuba by Diego Velázquez, in 1516. We also recommend you
to make a tour to Cayo Blanco, a virgin islet where you will live unforgettable
moments.
On the way back to Varadero, we recommend you to stop in Santa Clara, in the
center of the island. Then, take the road leading to Corralillo and enjoy the
services offered by the Elguea Spa, about 90 minutes from Varadero.
Route 3 - Santiago de Cuba & East Cuba
Santiago de Cuba - Baracoa - Holguín - Santiago de Cuba
Enjoy your stay in the most Caribbean of the Cuban cities. You will be able to
visit the most interesting sites of the city. Do not miss: the Baconao natural
park, a natural, extraordinary and beautiful environment. If you still have
time, do not miss the opportunity to stay one or two nights in Holguín.

Selection of hotels throughout Cuba for you to choose from

Santiago de Cuba - Guantanamo - Granma
You will be issued with vouchers when you pick-up your car for you present to
the hotels throughout the country. Likewise you will be given a card which will
contain Added Values offers by the different companies plus a map of Cuba.
We recommend, during the high season, that you get in touch, a day in advance,
with the respective hotels to confirm reservations.
The prices given include the drop-off of the car.
The prices furnished can only be used for one car.
Hotels will be on bed & breakfast basis.
Minors, from 0 to 12 years of age will be free of charge, provided that they
share accommodation with two adults.
In Varadero the maximum stay is three days.

- Free development of films in all the Photo Clubs throughout Cuba.
- Initiation Diving Show in all the Diving Centers of Cubanacán Nautica.
Important:
-The driver must have a valid, international driver’s license or one from his
country of origin and no less than a year experience as a driver.
-Driver’s minimum age is 18 years old.
-Insurance will be acquired while renting car and the money to be paid should
be approximately CUC 20 per day, against all risk.
-The client must leave a deposit for the value of CUC 200 while renting car.
-Gas will be provided by the client and it should amount to CUC 0.90 per litre.
-The client will be given the opportunity to make the drop off of rented car at
any of the following airports: Havana City, Varadero, Cayo Coco, Holguín, and
Santiago de Cuba. No additional charge included.
-The rented car should be returned to the rental office in the same conditions
it was handed down to the client.
-The hotels and the car rental offices do not reimburse the client by concept
of services contracted and not fully used neither by accidental loss of
documents that guarantee accommodation or the rent of the vehicle.
