Itinerary: 3 nights in Havana, 2 nights in Trinidad, 2 nights in Topes de Collantes and 2 nights in Cayo Santa Maria.
The following services are included in itinerary:
- Accommodation in the selected hotels. In case a selected hotel is not available an alternative accommodation of similar or higher category will be provided
- Hotel meals depending on the hotels selected.
- Meals in local restaurants as described in program.
- Entrance fees to museums and places of interest as described in the program.
- Air conditioned transportation during the whole trip.
- Professional tour guide’s service during all trip
The following services are NOT included in itinerary:
- Transfers IN and OUT (can be booked separately with Cuba Select Travel).
- Excursions referred to in program as “optional”
- Drinks in the hotel meals
- Gratuities to tour guide, driver or any other service staff
- Any other service not mentioned in program as included.

Day 02 Sunday Arrival to Havana
Breakfast. Walking tour in Old Havana, declared by UNESCO the Cultural Heritage of Mankind: San Francisco de Asis Square. Visit to Havana Club rum museum to learn producing process with degustation included and free time for the purchase of souvenirs. The tour continues around Plaza Viejas (Old Square) along Mercaderes street to Ambos Mundos hotel, where famous American writer Ernest Hemingway lived. Walk around Plaza de Armas (Weapons’ Square) and Cathedral Square. Panoramic visit to the famous Hemingway’s bar La Bodeguita del Medio. Lunch included in El Aljibe restaurant. Panoramic bus tour along the exterior areas of the Revolution Museum, Central Park, Havana’s Grand Theatre, National Capitol. Hemingway’s bar La Floridita. Take the view of the most popular city avenues Malecon, which runs along Havana’s northern coast 7 km. long. Visit to the Revolution Square a site of great historical value. Panoramic tour along Havana’s University building. Return to the hotel. Night excursion to San Carlos de La Cabaña fortress to enjoy the canon ceremony from the 18 th century at 21:00 o’clock with dinner included in the restaurant La Divina Pastora. Return to the hotel.
Day 03 Tuesday Havana-Pinar del Rio(Tobacco Trail)-Havana
Breakfast. Go to Pinar del Rio, Cuba’s westernmost province, where world’s best tobacco is cultivated. Exotic landscape with royal palms, Cuba’s national tree. Stop at the Tourist Center "Las Barrigonas" where you will receive information about the route to be made and a brief overview of the tobacco production process in Vueltabajo. Visit to a tobacco plantation in an estate located in San Juan and Martinez to exchange with a renowned producer and receive detailed information on the entire production process. You will observe the tobacco plantations and visit the houses to cure and dry their leaves. Traditional Cuban lunch at the farm and exchange with a cigar roller. Return to the hotel in Havana. Dinner in the Tocororo restaurant with tasting of pairing of tobacco and rum. Free time.
Day 04 Wednesday Havana/Cienfuegos/Trinidad
Breakfast. Departure to Cienfuegos. Visit to Fiesta Campesina farm to learn about the endemic flora and fauna of Peninsula de Zapata, the Americas’ largest wetland, Biosphere Reserve. Taste a typical cocktail. Arrival to Cienfuegos, known as the southern pearl, where the largest Latin America’s coral site Notre Dame was discovered. Lunch included in Club Nautico restaurant(buffet). City tour along Cienfuegos’ main streets and avenues, the only city in America founded by French settlers under the Spanish crown, situated on the marvellous natural bay coasts and protected by Jagua fortress. The perfect symmetry of its streets, neoclassical and eclectic architecture, the Historic Centre, declared World’s Cultural Heritage make this city so attractive. Visit to Tomas Terry Theatre, walking tour around city’s centre Jose Marti’s Square, where you could see the Cultural Background House, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Panoramic visit to a local monument Palacio del Valle. Trip continues to Trinidad. Arrival and accommodation in the selected hotel. Dinner in the hotel. Free time.
Day 05 Thursday Seafari to Las Iguanas Key -Ancon Peninsula
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Trinidad’s Marine for Las Iguanas Cay seafari. Lunch on board in Las Iguanas Cay are included. During the excursion you have a swimming option under the boat’s personnel supervision in Las Iguanas Cay. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Free time.
Day 06 Friday Trinidad-Topes de Collantes.
Breakfast. Visit to Sugar Mills’ Valley, Mankind’s Heritage for its exceptional beauty. Enjoy the typical cocktail. Panoramic walking tour through Trinidad’s city center, one of the first Cuban villages founded by Spaniards at the beginning of 16 th century, declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Visit to a city museum, Plaza Mayor Square, the main parochial church of the Holy Trinity with its luxurious altar decorated with local precious woods and 300 years old images. Visit to Canchanchara bar, where you could taste its famous cocktail founded by mambises (Cuban independence fighters) in 19 th century. Lunch in the private restaurant Tavern El Barracon. Visit to Chichi’s House belonging one of the city’s most famous families Santander. Trip continues to the Natural Park Topes de Collantes. Accommodation and dinner in the selected hotel. Free time.
Day 07 Saturday Topes de Collantes- Excursion to Guanayara.
Breakfast in hotel. Departure on special mountain trucks to Guanayara National Park, 15 kms far away from Topes de Collantes. Enjoy the wide variety of endemic flora and fauna, natural pools and the beautiful El Rocio waterfall. A 5 kms. long walk by foot along an extraordinary beauty trail. Adequate clothes and footwear is required. Optional 500 mts you could go through the river. Creole lunch in the local restaurant La Gallega. Visit to a coffee house to learn about the coffee cultivation process and taste a cup of coffee. Return to the hotel. At night dinner in the local restaurant Mi Retiro.
Day 08 Sunday Topes de Collantes-Santa Clara-Cayo Santa Maria.
Breakfast in the hotel and check out. Early departure to Santa Clara. Panoramic tour around the city’s historical centre. Visit to Ernesto Che Guevara’s Mausoleum on the Revolution Square. Lunch in the restaurant Santa Rosalía. After lunch departure to Cayo Santa Maria with the panoramic transit visit to Remedios city. On the way visit to Marcelo Salado sugar mill and steam locomotives’ museum. Arrival to Cayo Santa Maria and accommodation in selected all inclusive hotel. Dinner. Free time.
Day 09 & Day 10 Monday Cayo Santa Maria
Time to enjoy Santa Maria beach and optional excursions.
Day 11 Thuesday Cayo Santa Maria/Havana
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at 12:00 in the morning. Transfer to Havana not included.
