Booking
Conditions
All arrangements are made in accordance with our Yacht Charter Booking Conditions (available on request).
Cruising Area
Cuban National Waters. Night time sailing prohibited within reef areas. Only persons on officially approved crew list allowed onboard.
Cuba Sailing Tax
Cuba Sailing Tax – Euros 5 per person per day, children under 12 yrs Free (payable at marina).
Discounts
Advance Booking Discount – deposit at least 6 months prior to charter – 5% on total. 5% for 2 consecutive weeks. 10% for 3 consecutive weeks. Maximum sum of discount 15%.
Diving
Dive Instructor Euros 80 per day plus free provisions (payable in advance). Diving equipment Euros 25 per day (payable at marina). Diving only permitted if holding a diving qualification.
Embarkation & Disembarkation
Embarkation 1600 hrs. Disembarkation 1700 hrs on the penultimate day + Optional overnight onboard till 0900 hrs.
Extra cost if embarkation or disembarkation Trinidad Euros 200 or Cayo Largo Euros 500 (payable in advance).
Equipment Included
GPS, Charts, Auto Pilot, Tender, Outboard Engine, Electric Windlass, Hot Water, Bedding and Linen, Mooring, water and power at Cienfuegos Marina. Plotter/Radar, CD, Bimini, end of yacht cleaning.
Extra Marina Costs
Only applicable if yacht moors at different marina other than Cienfuegos marina.
Fuel
Yacht received and returned with full tank.
Importing items to Cuba
Small GPS receivers are allowed. It is not advised to bring satellite phones into Cuba as they will be held at the airport by customs and returned when you leave Cuba.
Minimum Charter Period
3 Days (Additional days 1/7th of weekly rate)
Payment of Charter
30% deposit required to confirm charter. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to embarkation. Prices quoted maybe subject to change and will be advised at time of booking.
Provisioning
Provisioning not included. Advance order is recommended from our Provisioning List (payable at the marina). Enter here to

Security Deposit
Euros 2500 (payable at marina with cash, traveller’s cheques, Visa or MasterCard ).
Instead of the full Security Deposit option to pay a Damage Waiver of Euros 160 (payable in advance) reduces deposit liability
to Euros 250 (payable at marina by, cash, traveller’s cheques,
Visa or MasterCard ).
Skipper & Deckhand/Cook
Skipper Euros 90 per day plus free provisions. Deckhand/Cook Euros 50 per day plus free provisions. (Payable in advance).
Transfers & Hotel Accommodation
It is highly recommended that these arrangements are made in advance. We offer a special meet on arrival at airport and transfer either to hotel or direct to marina. Other services include hotel accommodation, car rental, excursions etc,.

Discounts
Advance Booking Discount - deposit at least 6 months prior to charter - 5% on total. 2 weeks and more - 5% discount on total. 3 weeks and more -10% on total. Maximum sum of discount 15%.

Dive Master Euros 70 per day plus free provisions (payable in advance). Diving equipment CUC 25 per day (payable at marina). Diving only permitted if holding a diving qualification.
Embarkation & Disembarkation
Embarkation at Cienfuegos 1800 hrs. Disembarkation at Cienfuegos - to be completed at 1000 hrs. . Extra cost if embarkation or disembarkation Trinidad Euros 200 or Cayo Largo Euros 400 (payable in advance).
Equipment Included
In-mast furling mainsail (catamarans: lazy jacks), roller furling genoa, spinnaker (additional deposit Euros300), electric anchor windlass, bimini, spray hood (not on catamarans), dinghy with outboard, autopilot, GPS, CD player, electric and compressor refrigerator (catamarans electric only), 220 V land hookup, barbecue for stern pulpit, snorkeling equipment, linen and towels, cleaning at end of charter. BAVARIAS: wind generator. LAVEZZI & BELIZE: solar panels. BAHIA: generator, 220 V board electricity. BELIZE & BAHIA: watermaker.
Fuel
Yacht received and returned with full tank.
Water
Yacht received and returned with full tank.
Sail Board (windsurfer) Euros 50/week.

Instead of the full Security Deposit option to pay a Damage Waiver all yachts Euros 150 except Lavezzi, Belize, Bahia Euros 250 (payable in advance), reduces deposit liability for all yachts to Euros 350 except Lavezzi, Belize, Bahia Euros 750 payable at marina by cash, Visa or MasterCard (not US credit cards).
Skipper & Deckhand/Cook
Skipper Euros 80 per day plus free provisions. Deckhand/Cook Euros 50 per day plus free provisioning. (payable in advance). If the charter includes our local skipper no Security Deposit or Damage Waiver required.
Summer Special Rates May to September
Charter 10 days and pay only 1 week (plus Euros300)
Charter for 2 weeks and pay only 10 days
Charter for 3 weeks and pay only 2 weeks
(No other discounts on Summer Special rates)
