ALL-INCLUSIVE SAILING ADVENTURES

Cuba Catamaran

Cruising Cuba’s paradise islands, coral reefs and idyllic in your own exclusive yacht

All-inclusive crewed yacht charters sailing to uninhabited cays, tropical beaches, coral reefs and swimming with dolphins…..is pure escapism. Sail on your own exclusive yacht in the Caribbean with a skipper who will make your trip a real adventure and the deckhand/cook who will provide you with special Cuban cuisine including delicious seafood.

The sailing adventure starts aboard your exclusive yacht from Trinidad yacht marina base situated on the southern Caribbean shore of Cuba. Trinidad is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Cuba’s oldest Spanish colonial cities. The city is steeped in history, and is situated below the Escambray Mountains and the Topes de Collantes National Park. It is filled with entertainment and eateries; the city is a hub of activity for nightlife or just soaking up the Cuban culture.

The Jardines del la Reina (Gardens of the Queens) is a ‘lost paradise’ where you will visit deserted cays with pristine white sandy beaches and rare exotic wildlife. It is an excellent yachting location with clear waters and azure lagoons especially for exploring the marine life by snorkeling or scuba diving.

You do not need to have sailing experience, as you will be in the safe hands of an experienced yacht skipper with local knowledge of the area. A deckhand/cook will also form part of the crew. As part of the fun and adventure you can assist in sailing the yacht and use your culinary skills to help prepare the onboard meals or barbecues on the beaches. Lobsters, tropical fruit, rum and Havana cigars are some of the things to enjoy.

All the yachts are first class with all amenities, safety and navigation equipment, inclusive of onboard meals, open bar, bed linen, towels, pantry equipment, dinghy & outboard engine, snorkeling equipment, fuel, water, electricity, berthing costs and Cuba Sailing Tax.

Diving enthusiasts can experience some of the most breathtaking diving sites of the world. Compressors, tanks and weights and other scuba equipment can be arranged as well as a dive instructor (optional). Scuba divers must have a least an equivalent of a PADI Open Water qualification and be accompanied by a dive instructor.

Day 1 Trinidad – Cayo Blanco
Embark yacht late morning and briefing with yacht skipper. Depart yacht berth for day cruise through the Caribbean tropical waters to Cayo Blanco de Casilda to arrive for lunch on board. A visit to this Cayo Blanco is possible where there is an open restaurant (Ranchon) on the beach which serves various seafood dishes and local cocktails. There are iguanas which can be observed in their natural environment. Enjoy some snorkeling in the coral reef. Dinner at anchor off the cay.

Day 2 Cayo Blanco – Cayo Macho de Afuera

After a hearty breakfast all hands on deck, hoist the main sail and reach out for Cayo Zaza de Fuera. Take your turn at the helm and steer the yacht to the south east. Try your hand at navigating and see if you can plot a course to your next waypoint. Throw a line and trawl for fish. Lobsters are numerous enough to be your daily diet. Treasures from old day pirates are said to be scattered on the seafloor as well as hidden on the cays. As the bell tolls settle down for an evening meal.

Day 4 Cayo Zaza de Fuera - Trinidad
A leisurely sail in the Caribbean trade winds and sunbathing on deck or the trampoline as we make way to Trinidad where we have a ‘All hands on deck’ party and lashings of rum served by your Captain.
