An 8 day all-inclusive tour of Cuba's ecological highlights and heritage
This ecological tour takes you through the stunning landscapes of Soroa,
located at Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve and Vinales, Cultural Heritage
Landscape, the crystal clear waters of Cayo Levisa, as well as the historic
center of Havana, Cultural Heritage Site.
Arrive Havana
Day 1: Arrival at Jose Marti International Airport, Havana.
Transfer to your hotel. Check-in. Dinner. Evening free.
Havana Sights & Sounds
Day 2: Breakfast. Departure to the National Zoo and the
National Botanical Garden. Lunch at the nearby eco restaurant. In the
afternoon, tour of the historic highlights of the capital, Cultural Heritage
Site. Return to hotel. Dinner. Evening free.
Vinales Valley, Caves & Subterranean River
Day 3: Breakfast. Departure to Vinales Valley, Cultural
Heritage Landscape. Check-in at a Hoteles Horizontes. Lunch. Afternoon
excursion to the Cueva del Indio, including a boat trip on its subterranean
river. Return to hotel. Dinner. Evening free.
Trekking, Tobacco & Creole Lunch
Day 4: Breakfast. Walk along a track. Visit to the Gran
Caverna de Santo Tomas. Creole style lunch. At the Mural de la Prehistoric
restaurant. Dos Hermanas Valley. Visit to the village of Vinales. Tour on foot
through the valley visiting a tobacco plantation. Return to hotel. Dinner.
Evening free.
Tropical Island, Seafood & Snorkeling
Day 5: Breakfast. Transfer by coach to the Palma Rubia pie.
Boat trip to Cayo Levisa, a small tropical island of pristine nature. Seafood
lunch. Free time to enjoy the beach and to do some snorkeling at the coral
reef. Return to hotel. Dinner. Evening free.
Biosphere Reserve, Orchids & Waterfalls
Day 6: Breakfast. Departure to Soroa visitors’ center situated
in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve. Check-in at Hotel & Villas
Horizontes Soroa. Lunch at El Salto restaurant. Afternoon free to visit the
nation’s largest collection of orchids, containing over 600 autochthonous and
foreign species, and the waterfall. Dinner. Fun evening organised by the hotel.
Las Terrazas & farmer’s Lunch
Day 7: Breakfast. Departure to the Biosphere Reserve and
community Las Terrazas, to enjoy this attractive place and a farmer’s lunch.
Return to hotel. Dinner. Evening free.
Arts & Crafts, Rum & Cigars for Souvenirs
Day 8: Breakfast. Transfer to Havana airport for outbound
flight.
