Cuba West to East Tour
The aim of this tour is to travel the length of the island from West to East Cuba. Just some of the attractions on the way include riding in classic American cars, traveling through sugarcane and tobacco plantations, exploring colonial cities, trekking in mountains, seeing Che Guevara’s mausoleum and relaxing at a beach resort.

The tour offers some of the most interesting and popular places and activities both for independent travellers and groups with particular emphasis on getting close to the Cuba people and culture with option to extend stay in Guardalavaca beach resort.
Day 1 - Arrival at Havana International airport
Meet and assisted upon arrival at Havana airport. Transfer to you hotel in Old Havana. Check in at the hotel. Relax after your flight and enjoy some free time before the start of your program tomorrow. Accommodation at hotel Plaza.
Day 2 - Havana
Your tour begins after breakfast with a sightseeing tour of Old Havana. This guided walk will take you through the historical center of the city and to wonderful squares, museums and streets. After an initial introduction you will visit the Rum Museum at Havana Club. Afternoon city tour of Modern Havana. There will be a welcome dinner in an old town restaurant. Accommodation at hotel Plaza. (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Plaza and Dinner in a local restaurant).
Day 3 – Havana - Viñales
After breakfast we leave for the Western part of the island, to the province of Pinar del Río. You will visit a tobacco factory before continuing on to Viñales, where you can admire the impressive sights of this charming town; its surrounding tobacco plantations and the strange hill-peaks (mogotes) that are typical of this region. We will visit the Cueva del Indio and have lunch at Palenque de los Cimarrones restaurant. Late in the afternoon we will arrive at the Hotel Rancho San Vicente, where you will stay for the night. Accommodation at Hotel Rancho San Vicente. (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Plaza and Lunch in Palenque de los Cimarrones restaurant).
Day 4 - Viñales
Today we travel to Cayo Jutias. Lunch included. We will stay at Rancho San Vicente overnight. Accommodation at Hotel Rancho San Vicente. (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Rancho San Vicente and Lunch in Cayo Jutias).
Day 5 - Vinales – Cienfuegos
In the morning, after breakfast, we leave for Cienfuegos. With its French flair, Cienfuegos is the one of the most beautiful and lively towns on the island. After a tour through the town, we can enjoy lunch in the Palacio de Valle. The restored colonial center offers many architectural sights like the Castillo de Jagua, which was built to protect the region from Jamaican pirates. Dinner will be in Palacio de Valle Restaurant. Accommodation at Hotel Jagua (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Rancho San Vicente and Dinner in Palacio de Valle).
Day 6 - Cienfuegos - Trinidad
You start the day with breakfast at the hotel before continuing on to Trinidad. On the way, we will stop to visit the botanic garden of Cienfuegos. We will spend the evening in Trinidad where we will have dinner and stay at the Hotel Costa Sur. Accommodation at All-Inclusive Hotel Costa Sur (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Jagua, all inclusive in Hotel Costa Sur).
Day 7 - Trinidad
Our tour begins today with a walking tour through the Colonial town of Trinidad. The Cuba itinerary is left blank for the afternoon so you can discover the town on your own, or go on an excursion. At night we will visit the Casa de la Trova to experience some live local music. Accommodation at All-Inclusive Hotel Costa Sur (Meals included: AI in Hotel Costa Sur).
Day 8 – Trinidad – Camagüey
Today’s destination is Camagüey, a very cultural, active city that has been dubbed as "legendary" due to its traditions, patriotism and its classical style. Originally, the city was built in the bay of “Nuevitas”, but as a result of frequent attacks by pirates, the city has been moved deeper into the country. Here, you will enjoy a city bicycle tour before spending some free time in the evening. Accommodation at Hotel Colon (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Costa Sur).
Day 9 – Camaguey – Bayamo – Sierra Maestra
The city of Bayamo is one of the most beautiful places in Cuba. After a combined tour through the city, you will be transferred to Sierra Maestra. Accommodation at Hotel El Salton (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Colon).
Day 10 - Sierra Maestra
Hiking in the Area. Accommodation at Hotel El Salton (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel El Salton).
Day 11 – Sierra Maestra - Santiago de Cuba
Today you will head to Santiago de Cuba, the secret capital, stopping on route in El Cobre. This city is probably the most African in a cultural sense, and is a passionate, lively and buzzing city with a party atmosphere. Various museums, impressive buildings and a cemetery are amongst the top tourist attractions, and the monument of Antonio Maceo on the Plaza de la Revolución is a must-see. Accommodation at Hotel Versalles or Las Americas (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel El Salton).
Day 12 – Santiago de Cuba
City Tour of Santiago de Cuba including El Morro, Ifigenia Cemetery and Moncada Museum. Lunch in local restaurant. Accommodation at Hotel Versalles or Las Americas (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Versalles or Las Americas, Lunch in local restaurant).
Day 13 – Santiago de Cuba – Havana
We suggest you go strolling around the city of Santiago, and discover its hidden treasures. In the afternoon, a transfer will take you to the airport of Santiago de Cuba from which you will fly back to Havana. Transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at hotel Plaza. (Meals included: Breakfast in Hotel Versalles).
Day 14 – Departure Havana
Today is the final day of your tour; sped the morning at leisure. At the appropriated time a transfer will take you to the airport in Havana in time for your flight back home.
Met and greeted at Havana International Airport. Welcome information pack on arrival. Service of driver and qualified English speaking tour guide. Car or tour bus transfers (according to number of persons) as mentioned in itinerary. Domestic flight from Santiago de Cuba to Havana . Accommodation at specified hotels (13 nights). International flights. Tourist Visa Card (obtainable from Cuban Consulate in your country, your airline, or your travel agent). Our standard hotels are 2 to 4 star rated according to local hotel ranking. Most of the hotels are situated centrally, but this can vary depending on the area you stay in. All rooms tend to be doubles and have a toilet and bathroom. There is a single traveler supplement for a double room. If hotels mentioned in the itinerary are fully booked when reservation is made, we reserve the right to book another accommodation of equivalent standard.
