Day 1

You will be met and assisted by your driver & guide upon arrival at Havana International Airport. Special VIP service fast tracking you through immigrations and Customs and then enjoy a cocktail in the VIP lounge while your baggage is brought to you by a valet. Transfer to a colonial style hotel in Old Havana. Accommodation at 5* Hotel Iberostar Parque Central (standard room)

Day 2

This morning, experience the old and historical sites of Old Havana on a walking tour with your personal guide. Some of the highlights will be the second oldest fortress in America, Cathedral Square and the Revolutionary Museum. We follow the Hemingway trail and see the room at the Ambos Mundos Hotel where he wrote the book 'For Whom the Bells Toll', and then onto the La Bodeguita del Medio Bar where he used to frequent for his Mojito cocktails. For lunch we go to El Patio restaurant. ?Later we take a nostalgic trip in a classic American car visiting the Revolutionary Square, the Colon Cemetery and ending with a Daiquiri cocktail at the Floridita Bar. Return to your hotel in Old Havana. In the evening we step out to experience one of Havana's nightclubs, which is in touch with the Cuban traditions: Café Taberna presenting Buena Vista Social Club. Day 3

After breakfast you will have time at leisure to explore the city on your own or go to the beach and then get ready for a night out at the famous Havana Cabaret Tropicana. The show in itself is world renowned for its spectacular revues with singing, dancing, acrobats and showgirls in elaborate headdresses and scanty clothing. Located in an open air auditorium under the stars with over 200 artists performing on stage and a 30 piece orchestra. One bottle of rum for every 4 guests with small snack and mixers. Transfers to/from the cabaret will be locally arranged directly at the hotel to give you time flexibility. ?Accommodation at 5* Hotel Iberostar Parque Central (standard room) (Meals included: Breakfast at the hotel)

Day 4

An early departure to the beautiful ecological tourist complex of Las Terrazas mountain resort to enjoy its flora and fauna. The area is one of the best places in Cuba for bird watching and is the habitat of the national bird, the Tocororo. We visit the Las Terrazas Village Community and enjoy the magnificent Cuban coffee at Maria's house, especially good as she roasts the coffee beans on charcoal which gives it its unique flavour. We go to Cafetal Buenavista, which preserves the ruins of an 18th century French coffee plantation. On a good day you can see the Gulf of Mexico to the north and the Caribbean Sea to the south. We have lunch at El Cafetal Restaurant, located in the original house of the French plantation owners. In the afternoon relax and enjoy the sulfuric mountain spring waters of the San Juan River, it is said the waters will make you younger. Free evening. Accommodation at La Moka hotel. Day 5

In the morning we travel to the beautiful Vinales Valley to enjoy its limestone hill formations, the mogotes, unique only to Cuba and China. On route we visit the Francisco Donatien cigar factory to see how cigars are made. After arrival to Viñales, visit the Indian Cave where the rocks have been formed both naturally as well as sculptured by hand, with shapes and forms resembling figures like an Indian smoking, the three ships used by Christopher Columbus, and others you will be able to see and also imagine. Lunch will be a lo Guajiro (farmers lunch), in the restaurant by the Prehistorically Mural, where you will taste typical Cuban-style criollo food. Return to Havana and enjoy your night at leisure maybe at one of Havana´s nightclubs . Day 6

Enjoy your last day at leisure before the transfer takes you to Havana airport in time for your flight back home. You can also extend your stay in Cuba (by pre-arrangement) by taking one of our other tours to different places in the island such as Cayo Ensenachos, Cayo Las Brujas, Cayo Guillermo or Varadero\beach resorts. Any food and beverages not mentioned as included. Cuba Airport Departure Tax (25 CUC per person payable in cash on departure). Personal expenses. Staff gratuities (this may include gratuities for your tour guide, driver, restaurants, hotel porters and other hotel staff).

Accommodation: We pre-arrange all your accommodation. If hotels mentioned in the itinerary are fully booked when reservation is made, we reserve the right to book another accommodation of equivalent standard. Transfers: We arrange various transportation options such as cars or tour buses depending on numbers of persons travelling. Meals: The food and beverages mentioned are suggested options for you to pay on the spot unless they are specified as included in the itinerary. Tour Guides: Our professional tour guides speak Spanish, English and some other languages, they will accompany you when specified in the program, should there be occasions where you wish to explore areas alone you can go without the tour guide who will give you directions and advice. Excursions: Depending on the particular excursion this can be a private excursion or a collective group excursion with other travelers. Clothing: As Cuba is a tropical island with an average temperature of 25°c light clothing is recommended. Wet wear is also recommended for inclement weather. Warm clothing is suggested if evenings are cooler. Sturdy shoes are recommended for walks and treks. Sandals for other times. Dress Code: Casual clothes during the day. Some restaurants and nightclubs at night require smart but casual dress, with no shorts, sandals or trainers. Medical: Medical insurance is compulsory to enter Cuba. There are good international clinics at the main tourist sites where you can obtain care and treatment and purchase medicines. For these services you will be expected to pay by cash or credit card and claim back from your insurance company. As not all medicines are available it is recommended that you bring your own medicines. Also, bring a high factor sun cream/spray and after-sun gel. Embassies/Consulates: Most countries have embassies and consulates in Havana. Mobile Phones: You can use you own mobile phone sim cards, however to phone home from Cuba can be expensive. If your sim card does not work in Cuba you can purchase a local sim card. Drinking Water: It is advised to drink only mineral water.
