The Telégrafo hotel dates as back as 1860 when it was located on the Amistad Street. Towards 1888 it was moved to its present-day location on the intersection of the populous Prado and Neptuno Streets. IT was finished by the year 1911 when it was regarded as the most modern hotel in the city and one of the bests 11 hotels in Latin America. The recently restored Telégrafo hotel combines modern and colonial elements in its architecture. It consists of 63 comfortable rooms with privileged views of the city. In the inner courtyard, the uncovered original brickwork of the round arches contrasts with the modern design of the building. The elegant Telégrafo restaurant specializes in the Cuban and the international cuisines.
It has 63 Rooms, 9 Junior Suites, 48 Standard twins 15 Matrimonial standard, 48 Rooms with view and 15 Rooms without view, 16 Rooms with balcony,
1 Room for the physically impaired, 19 Doubles that can become triples, 12 Connecting Rooms, 12 King size bed rooms, Extra beds, & Cradles.
