Los Frailes Hotel erects just a few steps away from the majestic St. Francis of Assisi convent and the charming Old Square.
The hotel used to be the mansion of the Marquis and Captain of the French Navy, Don Pedro Claudio Duquesne. Once visited by the most selected of the nobility of the time. Ecclesiastical dignitaries, military authorities and renowned artists. The house has become today the perfect hotel to enjoy the tranquility of the silence, and of the peace and quiet of its surroundings. Its rooms have all been decorated with a different touch. Its lobby-bar has been decorated with pieces of art, stained-glass windows, statues of monks made out of copper and altarpieces. It has got a quiet inner courtyard with a beautiful fountain and an old well.
